It all began in 1997 when Larry became the singer of a punk rock/hardcore band. Using AOL, xeroxed flyers, and knocking on venue doors, Larry booked and promoted his band at venues big and small, which led to national tours. Soon, he was not only booking his own band, but booking nationally touring punk rock, hardcore, metal, and indie rock bands to sold out crowds. These experiences led to the founding and co-ownership of a prominent punk, hardcore, and metal record company, who has worked with some of the biggest acts to ever be a part of those genres. But hey! Larry likes to tell jokes too. So, in 2014, he began performing stand up comedy and has toured nationally performing at some of the biggest clubs and theaters in the country.

The DIY (Do It Yourself) work ethic he learned in the punk rock community taught him that you can create your own opportunities. Additionally, it taught him that the BIG companies, bookers, and agents don’t always have the best interests of their artists as their primary focus. Also, venues and promoters who are booking the artists can have such a difficult time working with talent agencies. Heck, some don’t even respond to them. That is NOT what VTA is about. We cater to the artists, promoters, venues, and everyone involved to have a smooth talent booking of the best acts around. VTA wants ALL parties to have successful events that audiences will rave about.
